Greetings Bushido Backers!
Rising ExcitementWe are making good progress toward our first stretch goal of laser etched dice (just $2000 to go!) and also toward our Exclusive Social Stretch Goal of 100 Shares for the main Bushido Posts on Facebook and Twitter (We've got 25% so far!).
So, if you haven't done it already, please head over to our Facebook and/or Twitter pages and share the pinned post(s) (showing the Bushido video) with your friends who might like to back the game - and who will hopefully pick up a copy making it so you can always get in a 4-player game!
Rising Rage

There have been some questions about what the expansion is all about so I thought this would be a good place to spill some of the details.
Rising Rageadds: 5 New Dice 4 New Weapons (8 cards total) 20 New Techniques (+ 3 additional Basic School cards)
As you might imagine, the expansion focuses on the rage mechanic in the game, giving players more ways to use and acquire rage.
The new cards often feature ways for you to acquire or spend Rage Tokens, and the new dice feature a Rage Result allowing players a way to collect Rage Tokens without changing their guard!
The addition of the expansion tweaks the rules in small ways (Weapons for example are chosen from a random selection instead of the complete arsenal of 8+ weapon Cards) but otherwise simply adds more ways for you to show off your martial mastery and manipulate the power you put into each attack!
Ans yes, the Expansion also works with the 4-player rules which have been updated and posted on the main page.

Some of you have been asking for more specifics about 4 player rules.... Ask and you shall receive! Fresh rules are available here. You can find the 4 player rules at the back of the rulebook.

Hey there everybody!
We've made it through the holiday weekend here in the US with full bellies but an appetite to have this game take off. To try and add a little fuel to the fire, we've created a new social stretch goal...
Social Stretch Goal
Show some team Spirit and help spread the word to unlock this stretch goal!
We don't want to tip our hands too much about this special school.... but it will unlock 5 new cards. Those will be included exclusively with copies that come from this Kickstarter campaign (they will be available sold separately from us as a promo thereafter).
To get to this stretch goal, all we need are a combined 100 shares and retweets on the post pinned to the top of our Facebook page or the tweet pinned to the top of our page there.

Other Marketing Efforts
It's a crowded space these days with a lot of games competing for attention on Kickstarter. To that end we've done a few things to raise awareness.
One of them was a BoardGameGeek front page ad takeover. That got us 50% of the prime ad spot displayed on the site for all of Black Friday. From the results, it doesn't look like that moved the needle all that much.
We did get a nice shoutout on The Dice Tower's Board Game Breakfast this morning and we're expecting the wonderful folks from Married With Board Games to publish a Kickstarter preview video in the near future.
Part of the realization we're having is this kind of game might be a really good fit for the Magic: The Gathering and Hearthstone communities. We've reached out to content creators in that space, but we're more than open to any suggestions you might have!

Hey Bushido backers!
We are dang close to funding so thank you all for the support you've shown so far!
We truly appreciate your faith in our ability to deliver a quality game we hope this one will hit your table a whole bunch in the coming years. Your support means a ton to us!
As we inch ever closer to funding we want to give you (and other potential backers) some more things to get excited about so we are going to ahead and add a couple more stretch goals.
Stretch Goal Info
Soon we'll be adding not just one, but two new weapons to our stretch goal list... We already told you about the Odachi, but haaaaaave you met the Tetsubo?
Who wants to go clubbing?
We're adding both of these as early stretch goals for this project so you should see them pop up in an updated graphic shortly. While we were hesitant about spoiling the mystery, this is the season for giving so hopefully this sneak peak of upcoming content gives you something to get stoked about as you spread the word about this game.
