Dice Tower Review - Fulfillment Wrapped - Future Issues

Hey Bushido backers,

A couple of bits of news for this campaign as a way to wrap things up.

Dice Tower Review

The game should be in almost every backer's hands at this stage with some small exceptions (more on that later) and that includes several reviewers. Over this past weekend, the review for Bushido dropped on The Dice Tower and we're very pleased it was well received by Tom Vasel and crew.

With the retail release approaching a couple of weeks from now, we're hoping more people will discover the game.

Rating the Game

Part of people discovering the game and trying it is knowing what folks who have tried it before feel. Given the game hasn't released to retail, you're the only group of people that that's true for. If you've gotten a chance to try it, we'd love to hear your honest thoughts on BGG. It's a small step, but one that could help with creating future content for the game or things like organized play.

Fulfillment Wrapped

All of our fulfillment centers have reported finishing shipment of the game and shipments for "Everywhere Else" regions have also been sent from our warehouse.

The game is one we have loved and worked on for a long time and we hope the end result of the extra wait is a fantastic game that captures the feel of a martial arts duel to the death. It would not have come to life without your support, so yet again, thank you thank you thank you!

European Orders Shippped - Canadian Orders Update - Dice Tower Playthrough

Some good fulfillment news on several fronts.

European Orders Shipped

Fulfillment Europe has completed fulfillment of Bushido. Tracking numbers have been uploaded to BackerKit and emailed out for all of these orders. If you didn't see yours, shoot us an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Bushido Tracking"

These were sent via DHL Germany. For customers not based in Germany, the tracking number generally seems to only show up on that website. It's worth using this number to check with your local postal carrier once it's in your country. We've seen a higher than we'd like instance of these being returned unclaimed on a recent campaign. We know you've been waiting more than long enough for this... and don't want you waiting any longer.

Canadian Orders Update

So, there is a stereotype (fair or unfair) of Canadians being overly apologetic. In this instance, it's our turn to be... appropriately apologetic.

In Update #36 (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/152730994/bushido/posts/2374119), I referenced these 21 orders going out the door via FedEx International Mail Service under the assumption that these had already left our warehouse. Our warehouse had yet to confirm that, only giving me an estimated shipping date at the time I posted that update. I did not follow up afterward, assuming they had gone out already. When I followed up.... they had not. Now they have.

These orders were all shipped out yesterday via FedEx International Ground. The good news with using FedEx International Ground vs. FIMS is twofold... One, the packages will get their faster. A few of the delivery estimates I looked at showed orders delivering next week. Two, the tracking for them is more reliable.

Those tracking numbers have been uploaded to BackerKit and emailed out for all of these orders. If you didn't see yours, shoot us an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Bushido Tracking".

Apologies for the delay. It was entirely on us. We appreciate the Canadian backers who inquired about their packages as that enabled us to follow up and, hopefully, make it right.

Dice Tower Playthrough

Tom and Zee went toe to toe in a duel to the death a couple of days ago live on Dice Tower. While they had some rules struggles, they seemed to enjoy it! We're not sure when a full review will be up, but we appreciate you helping bring the game to life to create duels like these.

Europe, Australia/NZ & Canada Fulfillment Update

Hey Bushido backers,

A quick international update.

European Backers

Fulfillment Europe has officially received and started sending out orders today. When they are done, we'll have tracking information to provide to backers.

A backer asked if the additional dice would be coming in this shipment or a separate shipment. They should be packed into just one shipment. When you receive your game, please make sure that there are a total of 10 red dice. 5 should be packed outside of the game, 5 should be inside the game. You will likely have extra blue dice. Please dispose of extra blue dice as only five should be available during normal play.

If you do not have enough dice or anything else is wrong with your order, please email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Bushido Parts Issue" so we can get the issue resolved.

Australia/NZ Backers

All of these packages have shipped with tracking information provided individually in a separate email. Please look for it there. The note in the "European Backers" section regarding red dice applies to you as well.

Canadian Backers

We have found that getting packages to Canada has been especially difficult for recent campaigns following the strike up there. Have any Canadian backers received or not received their packages? We're trying to sort out a larger issue and could use feedback.

Europe, Australia/NZ Shipping Update

Hey Bushido backers,

A quick fulfillment update for you, especially international backers.

Europe Fulfillment

The shipment of games has cleared customs and is expected to be received at Fulfillment Europe's offices tomorrow. We're hoping for a fast turnaround of shipments. They'll be handling orders for Book of Dragons simultaneously.

Australia/NZ Fulfillment

These orders are being handled by VR Distribution. They have confirmed receipt of replacement dice and have just received the necessary fulfillment documents to ship out games. We don't have an exact ETA on when those will go out, but everything necessary is now in place.

Parts Replacement Issues

We have received very few parts issues so far, which is a promising sign. If you do have one, please send us an email to [email protected] with the subject line - "Bushido Parts Issues".

Worldwide Fulfillment Update - Parts and Shipping

Hey there Bushido backers,

A couple of updates in regards to fulfillment as well as the replacement dice needed to properly fulfill the game.

Replacement Dice

As mentioned in previous updates, there was a big manufacturing issue tied to the dice where each copy out there was five dice short. The original printer has made sets of replacement dice that are going out to the respective fulfillment companies, shipped via air.

We have received them here in St. Louis for the eventual retail release of the game. Our Asian partner, VFI Asia, has received theirs. I don't have confirmation yet from VR Distribution in Australia, although tracking information available to us shows it was delivered this morning. Tracking information for the replacement dice going to Fulfillment Europe are showing as in Germany but held up in customs for the moment.

Asia Fulfillment

These orders should be going out very shortly now that the dice are in hand.

Australia/NZ Fulfillment

If VR has indeed received the necessary dice, these orders should be going out fairly soon as well.

European Fulfillment

These games are at the port in Germany now. Fulfillment Europe is working with us to clear the shipment with customs. We have an anticipated delivery to their depot sometime next week. This is the same company we used with City of Gears and they were incredibly quick on that campaign and we'd anticipate this one should be even easier for them given the order numbers.
